Boat Launch: Used private boat launch at
Melgeorge's. Easy
to accommodate boats of all sizes.
Result of Catch: 2 Walleye, 3 Northern Pike, 5 Perch, 3
Smallmouth Bass, 1 Crappie.
Equipment Used: Silver and blue spinners, gold spinners,
jointed Rapalas, chub minnows, shiner, minnows, leaches.
Area's Fished: SE corner of lake along old railroad
trusses. NW corner along weed bed. West side shoreline.
South and West side of Buzzard Island. NE bay.
Tips: Work the edges of weed beds.
Smallmouth Bass are plentiful off Buzzard Island. Take
advantage of the rocky and sandy bottom shorelines. Work man
made structures like the old railroad trusses on the SE corner of the
lake and around docks.
