Rained all day.  Fished minutes after rain stopped

DNR maintained access.  Big enough for larger boats.  No dock
Result of Catch: 
Several Largemouth Bass

Shallow running rapalas.  Hook with night crawlers and artificial worms
Areas Fished: 
Entire Northern shoreline
Tips: 
Fish the shoreline along weed beds and areas of cover.  Some luck with Rapalas.  Most fish taken using slower presentation with night crawlers and artificial worms

Location: 
Located a few miles down the Bodas Road East of Hwy 53.  Public access signs on the south side of the road will lead you to the lake.
Narrative: 
Heading to Pleasant Lake we thought we were in for another wet adventure.  Fortunately the rain stopped as we arrived.  We were blessed with steady fishing.  We landed plenty of giant largemouth bass and recommend this lake to the avid Bass fisherman.

Stop on by the friendliest bar in Biwabik!  Located on Biwabik's Main street just minutes from Minnesota's best golf course and great skiing at Giant's Ridge.  The Alpine is the best place to warm up in the winter and cool off with a cold refreshment in the summer.  Outdoor Patio available for smokers or just enjoy the sunshine.  Don't forget to stop by on Tuesday for dollar dog night.
