Date(s) Visited: July 5, 2008.
Temperature: 80's
Barometer: 29.46 and holding.
Water Temperature: 68
Other Conditions: 20mph wind gusts.
Boat Launch: Used boat launch at campground. Big
enough for larger boats. 2 Docks.
Result of Catch: 20-30 Walleye. 2 Northern Pike.
Equipment Used: Red and white Daredevil. Silver
spinners. Green and yellow spinners. Green jigs. Night
crawlers. Leaches. Chub minnows.
Area's Fished: NW Bay. Popple Point.
Tips: Bright greens and yellows seemed to produce the
most Walleye. Eye's seemed to prefer crawlers and leaches over
minnows. Try casting Daredevils toward the floating bog in the NW
bay for larger Pike.
